Everyone has a message on their homepage from tom saying that yes, apps are down, we're working on it and should have them back soon.
If you want more details, pls follow our twitter feed, url in my sig.
-
dude, read the post directly above you. YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR VANITY URL.
-
Heya!
We're going to do this :)
Now, question for you. "Educational" isn't really a great name, I don't know how much users will want to click on that. Any ideas? I was thinking something along the lines of "learn and play"
-
hey beth - msg me through myspace with the details (your username, BLOCKED EXPRESSION name, what points, etc) and I'll forward them on to the appropriate folks to make sure they look into it.
-
Go here: http://profileedit.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=accountSettings.applicationSettings
Click remove next to the app you don't want there anymore.
-
again. What happens when you try to remove the applications?
"I cannot remove apps" is not anything we can look into...we need details.
-
I think our lawyers may have an issue with you using myspace in the domain name :( I know they've gone after sites that do that before.
-
Send me the app names, and we'll take a look. We treat all app developers exactly the same way, there is no "paying" for anything here.
@Climate - our rules are for applications only, dunno how things work on the profile side, but it's out of my world.
-
Oh believe me, I'm with you on that, mobile MySpace apps will be SO cool!! We will definately let you know as soon as something's definitively on the way :)
-
Heya Climate -
You can TOTALLY do that. The restriction around the use of "my" and "space" is specific to the application (as in, the piece that lives on myspace) itself - we were seeing far too many "The #1 MySpace Photos App" type names going on. You're totally cool to use that on your own ...
