    Problem today with "Sorry we are unable to process your request"

     Hello I have an app with the outh protocol to autentificate the user in it. It have been worked perfect but today when it redirect to the autentification url the page say me : Sorry we are unable to process your request. It can be a Myspace problem? Can somebody help me please? I need the app working perfect to next week. Thanks.

     I was seeing this error earlier in the day as well.  Now, I am getting the following value returned in the oauth_problem parameter in the query string returned in leg 2:

    oauth_problem=Object+reference+not+set+to+an+instance+of+an+object.

     My app was working perfectly before, I just noticed this happening when I checked earlier in the day.

    Hey Chris,

    I think this is related to a defect we recently discovered. We've already got a fix for it and it should be deployed to production this evening/tomorrow with our regular deployment.

    (Apologies for the missing line breaks, but this forum doesn't seem to support them. (?)) I am having the same issue. Had it yesterday (6/3/2009) and today (6/4/2009). I am on CET. I just sent an email to support before I discovered this forum. An example request: http://api.myspace.com/Authorize.mvc/LinkAccount?oauth_token=q5gyS2TCS2etGyFJ7kLLyPlOIye9yiTSPOzlkAfzGcx04lU3NXEUwh6tSMMAx8mKgsR+qlpuvIsuP4R1ByxqTQ%3d%3d Error message: Oops! We're sorry, but we are unable to process your request. Sometimes, I get a weird 'Application Error' -- I think on one of your servers the custom error page is missing in that case. Anyway, a heads up would be cool. Also, since you encourage people to look at the status blog, maybe putting an issue on there wouldn't hurt as well.

    Hi Guys,

    We rolled some new code this morning that I hope fixed this issue. We had a bug that we discovered last week and the fix for it went out early today. I don't know for certain that these are related, so if any of you are still experiencing this problem can you please private message me on MySpace with the following information:

    • Full contents of the request being made to our API
    • Full contents of the response you receive from our API 
    • Steps on how I can reproduce the error you are seeing (if its possible for me to run through your app, would be really helpful)

     redirecting the user to authorize the appplication showes Sorry  we are unable to process your request
