For the last few days, if I change the profile source code for my app (131053), and click "Save Application Source", it does not get updated. I don't get an error message, the page that loads says "Success". But it does not update the code on the server. For a while, it updated if I tried 20-30 times. Now I've been clicking the button for an entire day with no luck. No matter what code I put in, short or long, simple or complex. To check if the code got updated, I navigate away and come back to the source code page, it always shows the original version. I tested this in FF 3 and IE 7.

To replicate, please feel free to change the code of the app (the dev version of course), I can reset it. This is an urgent issue as development came to a halt for a few days now. I've been hoping it'll work itself out...

What version of code are you using? .7 or .8?

I'm using .8 but it keeps reverting back to .7. I can live with this particular issue.

Also, I did not report this first but the "View Development Version" link is broken. I saw this problem reported not that long ago. I'm not sure what the correct link is so I cannot get to the dev version of the app. Or maybe I figured out the correct link, but not the correct version shows on the profile. I don't use xml but edit the code directly.

I managed to update the profile code once this morning, on the first try. But since then, it does not work again. Now the source code says "hello there" and I cannot change it.

Ok, it seems I managed to break out of this problem by uploading an app xml. This somehow cleared/reset my application. Also, by going back in my browser history I managed to find a working profile url in this format:
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=422438337&appId=131053&appvers=dev

So in short, while both of the two (or three) problems described above still persist, I managed to get around them with the workarounds above.
