    Can not create On-Site App

I fill out all of the fields and capcha on this page:

    http://developer.myspace.com/Modules/Apps/Pages/CreateAppAccount.aspx

I click the "next" button and the page posts back, but nothing happens.  No error message is displayed.  I have tried this in 2 separate developer accounts on 3 browsers (IE, FF, Chrome) and the exact same results happen.  I can create a myspace ID application without problems in both developer accounts.  One of the developer accounts already has an existing On-Site app but still will not create a new one.

    Thanks

Is the email address you're specifying already tied to a previous app? Each app must have a unique email address associated with it.

    thanks,

No, I mean any email address that is not in the system already, that's not used. If you are specifying an email address already used by another Myspace user or app, it will fail since it is not unique, and each app must have a unique email address.

ok so he means that if u made a myspace with this adress

    SuckIt@Loveme.com

then you can not make an app with that adress.

but u need to make a new one

    AppSucker@loveme.com

Re: Can not create On-Site App

I created a brand new email address in gmail for this application.  It has never been used in any other application.  I just tried again, this time from Costa Rica, and it still will not allow me to create an application.  Have you tried to do this yourself?  This does not seem to be limited to one browser or location.  Once again, I have filled out all of the info and agreed to the terms of service and used a new email address and entered the correct capcha.  I get no error message at all but the app is never created.

I can create a myspaceId app, but not a on-site app.

I can try to re-create this if you send me an exact list of steps you took to get to this error.

    thanks,

    Joel

Re: Can not create On-Site App

The exact steps are this: Go to the create app page. Click the "Create On-Site App" button. This will take you to the CreateAppAccount.aspx page. Fill out the form as follows Application Title: MMM_OnSiteTest Email: gbrock99@gmail.com Password: test99 Confirm Password: test99 Click the checkbox in the Terms of Use Enter the capcha info in the text box. Click the "Next" button. The page will then do a postback/flash/whatever and will then redraw. It does not take you to the next page. It does not provide ANY information about missing fields or any error messages. It literally does nothing. The email address above is not associated with any myspace account or application. It was created specifically for this application. And yes I have tried several other un-used email addresses as well. All with the same results. I have tried this with multiple browsers (IE and Chrome) in multiple locations (USA and CR).

I believe it is because the pw is too short, try 8+ characters. Also be sure to capitalize the letters in the Captcha.

    thanks,
