Hello, I am working on myspace login authentication using oauth. Everything is working fine, But If I login first then it will redirect a wrong URL. Our site starts with http:// but its returning https://. Any one know about this issue. I guess some people got together & decided to report abuse of some kind or another for my "shoutouts" on this app.? The amazing thing about it is two-fold.For one, I post nothing but uplifting qoutes on the "shoutouts" & wishing everyone a great day, evening, etc..& secondly, The admin of that app ie. "Bitryhmes" is MIA/Awhol & does not respond to any emails or messages for @ least the past 6 months or so..I'm hoping someone with admin powers over this app will respond back to me & help me alleviate these issues as well as the 'pile' of other issues i'm sure other users/fans are troubled with.

How can I implement myspace in codigniterframework?

I have uploaded all source file ( myspace-sdk-php) to library file under Application folder and changed constructor valuses to an

array for MySpace(Under MyspaceId in source) and OAuthConsumer(Under OAuth in source). After execute the controller file it redirect to the myspace site and return back to my site with callback url,auth token and auth verifier. But getting the user profile access.

Anyone is there to help me please?

Can external apps access @all fields

I am writing a .NET web page that looks on My Space for a name like this:

XXXXXXX are masking my real keys.

When I make the call I do not get any errors but I do not get additional fields like AboutMe, etc just the standard fields. Am I doing something wrong or are these other fields not available to external calls?

request access_token callback url not working

Hi all,

I have created a sample mySpace oAuth application. I have specified the callback url and other details. and also add the application to my account.

Now i want users to add my application from my website. So i created a web project and tried to impliment as if the standard of oAuth as if in "http://wiki.developer.myspace.com/index.php?title=OAuth_REST_API_Usage_-_Authentication_Process". I have done oAuth for twitter early and is working very fine. I used the same code by little change in the REST url's.

Every thing woks fine until the access token request. I created the auth_token with consumer key and secret. Called the access token request url as per the above url. The mySpace interface came and told me to login. Now what my problem is when i login to wont take me to the callback url i registered. Instead it take me to some url like"http://home.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user". The callback url given is correct.

What i do with that ? Is it the way it works ? Where am i wrong ? How i will get users token and token_secret used to retreive data ?

I also tried registering and adding another application with mySpace OpenSocial. It also acts similar.

Some one please guide me

115px Padding in some myspace sites

Hi all

I realise, from two days ago, that in someone myspace sites there is applied a class which get down 115px the page layout, and add a leaderboard box of 36px height:

It seems this ocurrs only when you edit custom colours for your own theme. If you return to default theme or applies a design theme, these divs disppear.

Is this a design bug ??

Unable to create a new app

I can't seem to create a new app using this form:

Everytime I submit the form I get this error:

"Incorrect verification code. Please try again."

I've tried it several time in Firefox and IE. Is this a bug?

Lost my app

My app, Quidplayer, doesn't show up under "myApps". I imagine this is related to the fact that I was just taken back through the sign up process (email confirmation, etc) in order to regain access to my developer account and maybe this means my login is linked to a new account rather than the original. Or perhaps I created the app under a different login? Is there some way for me to regain access to the Quidplayer App?

Hi ,

Below are the issues I am facing :

I have created a new onsite app "glamble" (app id :199463), each time I try to visit the app profile (http://www.myspace.com/558750273) it redirects me to mysapce.com(home of my developer a/c) .

Also for an existing app glambledev with app id :192889 and email nimish.k.viz@gmail.com , when I login and try to edit the profile it redirects me to the home page.

Please help me on this.

Since I logged in today all I been getting are myspace "503 Service Unavailable" errors left and right. I did login using my app account then clicked on customize/edit profile after activating my account but it keeps taking me back to the homepage. It's a headache and as simple as it is to edit a profile, seems so complicated.

Can you please tell me what im doing wrong?

I have already approved my account, does it take few hours to take effect? It seems like to me some pages are directing me back to my homepage b/c it thinks I haven't approved my account but once I'm on the homepage, I don't get the message anymore.

Redirect to APP after register or login

We are planning to launch an advertisement campaign for our myspace app. But if we use http://www.myspace.com/games/play/194574 url for advertisement, users will reach the app but, if they are not logged in or not registered to myspace they will redirect to register or login pages. So after register or login we need those users to redirected to our application for adding it.

My question is, is there a method available to do this on myspace ?

(for example: http://www.myspace.com/games/play/194574?redirect=true OR http://www.myspace.com/login?appRedirect=194574 like something maybe).
