A tester account can be a tester if it's a valid Myspace account that is a friend of the developer and the developer grants the user tester access for that app.

Does this apply to Testers as well, or just Developers?

An individual user must agree to the developer terms with his account before he can be granted developer account status for your application. Then it should work for them as with all other devs of the app.

Tester is Unauthorized to fetch data

I have a Gadget app that uses the OpenSocial 1.0 spec and works fine for me and anyone listed as a developer. But I have a tester (that I can't seem to make a developer) and they receive the error message "unauthorized" when I try to implement a newFetchPersonRequest.

I have made sure the account has added the app and that their privacy settings are not blocking games or third-party apps.

Is there another setting or something I need to add to my request?

When I request access, and select Allow I use this code:

And when I reload the page I get the permission request again, likes it not being saved.
