Myspace user authentication oauth problem: [External Domain] or [oauth_callback] uri is not set.

Hi All.

I have been trying to get oauth user authentication to work for quite some time now with not much luck.

I have got it right up to the stage where myspace asks the user to authenticate and give permission to link the account to my app.

Supposing my domain is 'sub.domain.com' this is the complete url when it lands on myspace page:

http://api.myspace.com/authorize?oauth_callback=http%3A%2F%2Fsub.domain.com%2Fuser%2Fmyspace&oauth_token=some.long.string

My install callback url in app settings is: http://sub.domain.com/xyz.xml -- I have checked and rechecked this and it is same subdomain.

OAuth Consumer key: http://sub.domain.com -- I have checked this too and it is the same sub domain.

After this if I click continue on the myspace page it takes me to the correct url but with oauth_problem and oauth_parameters_rejected parameters.

End URL:

I have no clue to why this is happening and can't think of anything to get this right. Can someone point out what am missing over here?

After 3 hours of trying to submit a app name just to keep getting back a message already in use...it would be easier to actually have a list to parse off so I can stop wasting my time just trying to submit an app name and actually start to develop one.

I’m writing in the regards to the latest MySpace 2.0. I’ve noticed that MySpace still doesn’t allow the user to create blank customizable modules to insert HTML/CSS [etc…]. Please allow the user to have the ability to customize the module title (otherwise there shouldn’t be a title). The developer/company [etc...] can still advertise their name [etc…] without forcing the user to use an unsightly module title. I recommend placing a module scanner for cleaning malicious content before the user submits it to their profile. This would better insure that every MySpace user’s account is better secured. Currently, the older version of placing HTML [etc…] content inside the information space is getting very old and is extremely unattractive. That’s partially the reason why so many users have left MySpace for other social networks. You’re restricting your users without cause and you’re slowly loosing many users. Though, I’m assuming it appears the opposite to you, but I assure you that in fact you are loosing many of your users. I hope you take these freely given ideas and use them to your benefit… since it won’t happen again. Otherwise, I’m switching to another social network with everyone connected to me.

MOBSTER APPLICATION DISAPPEARED

When they first started having issues with all the apps, m "mobsters" app disappeared along with all the other apps. Now that the issue is resolved, my mosters app was never restored. It's telling me that I need to add the app. However, I tried that, and it's giving me an error message. Anyone else having this problem?

I can still access mobsters via mobsters.com/apps, however, it's not fully functional. I can't view my BLOCKED EXPRESSION, or click on the hyperlinks to view someone elses profile to attack, punch, etc..

HELP!!!

I've just begun getting a steady stream of users, and now I'm trying to figure out how to turn these users into $$$--does anyone have some suggestions on what I should be doing? What ad networks are the best? Is Google AdSense really my best bet (I feel scammed getting $0.02 CPM!)?
