Going to the to the app gallery now brings you to the Most Users Section instead of the recently popular list. I don't think it should be that way. The Most Users list don't need any help getting there apps and games known. Its the new apps that need to be seen at this point. It should be going to the Recently Popular Games Section when you goto App Section on myspace.

 i agree i mean the apps it opens to are the ones with millions of users. and clicking on games brings you to the most popular list as well. The apps on that list already have way more exposure than the ones on the new list and with it opening to the recently popular list we had a chance of getting some good instals now mine have droppedi really hope they but it back or maybe even rotate between the catagories

 What's up with the way the apps are being loaded under the "games" AND "more apps" menus? This really isn't fair to a lot of us smaller developers. MySpace needs to rethink this approach. Back to the drawing board folks!

 I have to agree with the previous posts.  I have seen a dramatic drop in the number of installs on the games that I develop.  I feel that MySpace needs to rethink this approach.  Go back to giving us smaller developers a chance to get our apps notice!

As i feared with the list going straight to the most users installs have stalled !!!! none of the new apps are getting installs or the ones on the recently popular list  either. To make it worse the most popular apps are getting all the installs and so are slowy taking over the recently popular list as well. So the apps with millions of users are seen in so many ways..... the game tab, the more apps tab and soon the recently poplular list as well. Our new apps only have one place to be seen the new list!!! I am actully getting better installs from my live apps on smaller networks (networks with less then 10 million users) which is crazy. So i wonder are we the small developers being pushed out is this myspaces way of making it so only the big apps can make it. Like small businesses in America that were pushed out by the big companys are we being pushed out!!                           MYSPACE PLEASE PLEASE RECONSEDER THIS CHANGE AND CHANGE IT BACK!!!!!!!

hi joel first thank you for taking the time to listen to the problemi have always found you to be fair and you seem to care. a great many developers are being effected by this. It is not just one app if you look at the new list from friday  you will see where the apps that would normally by now have had hundreds of installs now are only recieving a few the top performer is only up to 200 installs this is not good for us since it took those apps two days to get to 100 or more and i believe those installs are do to repeat users who look for our apps. now even the popular list is being over run by the apps with the most users. I personally have seen a decrese in my profits to almost nothing where i would have made a hundred or so i am barley pulling 20 a day now. i DO USE OTHER social site but till now they were secondary to myspace but now i am even getting more and better installs from friendsters if you can imagin that. At this way it is no longer profitable or it seems worth the small developers time to use myspace. as for numbers on apps must my apps receive at least 300 installs the first day it is released none of my apps are receving installs now as for id numbers for you any one the new list will work if you look at the new list you se apps with no or low installs but befor the testing done this week (you can see the testing apps on the new list) the apps have good instals like Most loved by daneil with over 1600 or farming frenzy by cleron over 1000 i mean most of the apps get as a rule at leat 200  or 300 as low end installs and high end is 1000 or more. We need this changed back right now the only ones represented are the most popular it is not good please help change it back it is a case of it wasnt broken so why fix it.

Is this problem is relation to http://developer.myspace.com/Community/forums/p/9418/45100.aspx#45100 ? I mean the true only way for people to stop using Adders to make an announcement that adders are against T.O.S. Also, You should make the sub accounts that the apps create when you make apps, Make those accounts NOT to be able to install apps to them. Which in return will not be allow people to use adders. I do think that is the best solution to the adders thing. But we do need to have to have you switch the app section to load up most users place We need to have in load back up to Recently Popular list.

Sat 9am UK time

My Flash Photo Slider appId=172628 has been live just over 3 weeks and had got over 6000 installs.

Mid week it was 1st in the recently popular in the 'Photos' gallery and had been for number 1 for quite a while - nows is lying 2nd last - 367th ....

I know the Recently Popular algorithm is a little flawed as it seems based on percentages so the more installs you have the harder it is to stay towards the top even if the numbers are ticking over, and if you have a bad day you can drop down but that is quite a fall....

 I agree i myself have been getting less and less installs on my apps and the money i was making has been greatly affected by it i am now barely making below 10 a day and i am having to consider that a good day as well please return the recently popular back to the way it is otherwise the smaller developers will become extinct we work hard to make apps and would hate to see all of our work for not.

 please joel if there is anything we can do to help i will even be happy to show myspace where my impressions have dropped by thoasands since this chang. Need it fixedd asap dont think the nearby underpass gets good wifi really dont want to be living there lol
