    stack overflow error

    Hi,

My App was functioning correctly till yesterday. (AppID 111831). Suddenly I have started getting this error: "stack overflow at Line: 255" .

In Firebug, am getting the following error:

    too much recursion
    [Break on this error]workItem = this.workItemPool_.pop();

The same application is working fine in Orkut. Seems thr is some issue on MySpace. Please validate.

    Re: stack overflow error

Unfortunately, I didnt get any reply for my issue :(

Today I noticed that stack overflow error is gone (though its still appearing on development sandbox), and now my application has stopped working as a whole..

My app is based on OpenSocial Persistence API, and it saves and fetches data from the container where it is deployed.Probably something wrong/changed with MySpace container, as I am not able to save anything on the MySpace server (using OpenS ocial persistence API).

In Firebug, I can see the PUT request, without any response :

PUThttp://api.msappspace.com/opensocial-api-v1.svc/XML/opensocial/VIEWER/appdata?opensocial_surface=canvas&ts=1218713274182 (672ms)  does not returns any response... Its blank.

Can someone please advice what is happening in the container? Unfortunately I am losing my users because of these issues.

My app was working fine earlier. And the same code is working fine on other containers.

     Thanks in avance.

I'm also experiencing intermittent lapses in AppData availability whereby successfully stored data is not returned when requested.

Please refer to this orphaned thread: http://developer.myspace.com/Community/forums/p/2913/14098.aspx#14098

The problem is sometimes profile specific, sometimes global, affecting all installations of our application.

About a month ago I implemented a workaround that re-attempts the request when the response is incomplete up to ten times.

It seems to be happening more frequently as time passes and now, when it does, the ten attempts rarely suffice.

This is understandably frustrating our users, so much so that I may need to store the association myself.

    Thanks,

    JP

Hi Rhonda, Does this means that the app based on Persistence API will not work well on MySpace.
