    simple authentication question

hi all, i have a simple question to ask(maybe 2) , that will help me to clear out the way of thinking, and using the Open Social and other APIs. will scenario below work ? i will provide the user a username/pass form. he will enter them and see his user list, photos etc. but without seeing myspace login page. if the answer to the first question is a NO then let me ask, is there anyway to fetch users friends, photos etc. without creating an application? thanks in advance.

I don't think anyone is going to give you their myspace user/pass directly.  That is what the oauth is for so they don't need to give you that.  You can't get the user info without creating an application since you will need to have an API key to do the authentication to do the requests to get that info from mySpace.  The following explanation might help clear up your thinking to how it all works.
