    oauth_problem=token_rejected response

    We have successfully linked over 200,000 of our user accounts with their myspace accounts.  In about 1% of these, subsequent requests to http://api.myspace.com/v2/people/@me/@self using the resulting access_token/secret result in the response "oauth_problem=token_rejected".

     Are there conditions under which the tokens will become invalid?  If they do, will they ever become valid again, or do we need to take the user through the process to get a new access_token/secret?

     Users can revoke access tokens by unlinking external apps in account settings.  Maybe that's what you're seeing.

    I am seeing the same issue on some of my users. I successfully get the token and token_secret from access_token call.  However any subsequent calls I get a "oauth_problem=token_rejected".  One of my users has gratefully provided their login info.  When I go into that account I see no apps under the Myspace IDs.  So I am very confused as where my app goes since I just authorized it???

     These are offsite apps, so you should check My Stuff -> Privacy Settings -> then check offsite apps in is the left navigator. Are the MyspaceID apps there?

    thanks,

    Joel
