What is the difference between the Off-site and on-site authorization OAuth?

If I do the authorization Off-site version of the application, then everything goes fine (test authorization). It is true there and Consumer key in a hash, not URL. But when I open the game I wrote "Not valid canvas".

If I do on the on-site version of the authorization (OpenSocial xml (type=url)), the time of receipt of the secret access token get the response that I was not logged in (401 Unauthorized) !

What is the difference? How authorize on On-site version or fix "canvas error"? HMAC_SHA1 use encryption method.

P.S. In on-site version app problem like this post ,but in my server settings magic_quotes_gpc is set to OFF.

Its sample of code to get Access_Token:

Always get the error: "Incorrect verification code. Please try again"

Try many times and make sure the characters and numbers typed in are correct.

Log-in API for new.myspace.com

Currently, users who create accounts from the new.myspace.com domain can not log in with existing mySpaceID Applications (created at http://developer.myspace.com/modules/apps/pages/createappaccount.aspx). Will there be a log-in API available for the new mySpace? If so, what is the ETA and are there plans to transition old users to the new system?

For the exteranal application, once the user authorize to link his/her acount, the access token is dedicated for this user, and it is lifetime valid, right?

The is no update on blog & forums by the team. APIs seems to have been changed and the documentation page is down since ages .... If there is plan to suspend/shutdown please share info about same. For god sake you are supposed to be Social ......

Hello, I am working on myspace login authentication using oauth. Everything is working fine, But If I login first then it will redirect a wrong URL. Our site starts with http:// but its returning https://. Any one know about this issue. After hours of search for documentation there was an error that included: External Callback Validation & oauth_callback are not validated

was part of the: HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized Cache-Control: private Content-Type: text/html Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.5 WWW-Authenticate: OAuth error

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am using myspaceid-csharp-sdk-v1.1.2.

I am Working in Asp.net 3.5 with c# 2008.I have done authentication part & I'm also able to get all image URLs or videos from my application. I'm also able to send messages to MySpace. Now I would like to post images & videos.

Please let me know how can I post images/videos from my application.

I guess some people got together & decided to report abuse of some kind or another for my "shoutouts" on this app.? The amazing thing about it is two-fold.For one, I post nothing but uplifting qoutes on the "shoutouts" & wishing everyone a great day, evening, etc..& secondly, The admin of that app ie. "Bitryhmes" is MIA/Awhol & does not respond to any emails or messages for @ least the past 6 months or so..I'm hoping someone with admin powers over this app will respond back to me & help me alleviate these issues as well as the 'pile' of other issues i'm sure other users/fans are troubled with.

getting this while trying MySpaceID.SDK.OAuth.Client.OAuthConsumer.GetRequestToken()

Our application is a MySpaceID-based application called Snap. Application id: 190545.

The IP addresses that are sending this request are 184.73.180.72, 184.73.191.237. Why are we banned? This is a mistake.

This is an urgent issue as our application is in production and users are not able to get to their myspace accounts from our application as a result.

I am using the correct Consumer Key and correct Consumer secret and myspace-android-sdk but I am always getting an error oauthNotAuthorizedException (server replied with 401 error); I am using the following Callback_UrL developer.myspace.com/modules/apis/pages/accessdelegationtool.aspx. I am new to myspace android and basically I want to use myspace in my application so that user can directly share images on myspace from my application. Thanks in advance

OAuth started returning errors

My app, using the signpost libraries for performing oauth, is no longer able to request a new token. I"m getting the following errors: Authentication error: Unable to respond to any of these challenges: {oauth=WWW-Authenticate: OAuth realm="http://api.myspace.com/authorization", oauth_problem=parameter_absent, oauth_parameters_absent=oauth_consumer_key} oauth.signpost.exception.OAuthNotAuthorizedException: Authorization failed (server replied with a 401). This can happen if the consumer key was not correct or the signatures did not match. My consumer key and secret have not changed, and neither has the code, since this last worked. Has anyone else encountered this? Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Thank you! Bryan
