I am a new developer trying to obtain an AppID. When I reach the captchas, no matter how many captchas I enter(I counted 50 at least ), I cannot get past that stage. Anyone else with the same problem?

what the heck is a captcha? i can't find anything on it and can't become friends with certain people unless i have completed one or watever. a little help here?
