  • Sociable Pet - Social networking across networks for your pets

Hi folks,  Check out my opensocial app called Sociable Pet.  You can setup a profile for your pet  and display it on your  MySpace page. You can also browse, friend, and comment on pets across social networks (Right now MySpace and Hi5 with more to come very soon). We'll be adding more features all the time but install ...

  • opensocial app development model

Hi again, In trying to develop a real application as opposed to a simple widget I've run into some challenges and am wondering if there's a pattern or solution that's proposed by you guys:  1) What do you use for a page navigation mechanism? For example on orkut you add &bpc=1 ...

  • Re: Example: JQuery UI

Please excuse me if this has already been mentioned elsewhere but I haven't been able to find it and this thread seems like a good place to ask. In trying to design an app that will work across many open social containers it's very helpful to understand exactly what the rules of enngagement are. I understand that referencing external ...

  • Re: Read me first -- Common Questions

I'm currently developing on Orkut and I'm using the data API to store account information about the users. Can I assume that the data API will be there for launch on MySpace?  I know you guys are swamped. Thanks so much for any info you might be able to give. -Michael

Why not include the gadgets.* API which has JSON parsing functionality built in? Sure would be nice if there was a spec compliant way to handle this very common operation when dealing with your application's server. -Michael
