• Activities feed returns 500 for recent 'datetime' queries

I'm retrieving the activities feed using the 'datetime' query parameter to fetch only recent activities. Firstly, I discovered that the format given in http://wiki.developer.myspace.com/index.php?title=ActivityStream_Queries#DateTime is wrong: MM/dd/yyyy doesn't work but dd/MM/yyyy does.  Additionally ISO8601 date-times are ...

  • Re: I think the time in the activity streams is off.

Occurring for me too: a status update I made at 7 August 07:58 GMT appears as an <entry> in the activities.atom feed with <published> & <updated> both 2009-08-06T23:58:10Z. The <feed> itself has <updated> as 2009-08-07T08:11:19Z which looks correct for when I retrieved it.

  • Re: What is diffrent between MySpaceID and App On-Site App

Hi, With the removal of "external domain" field from on-site apps, I am being forced to create a new "MySpaceID" app for my new system/server. There are a couple of things that I cannot seem to do with MySpaceID apps 1. With previous applications (seen under Profile->My Apps-> Applications), I could select to ...
That is correct that currently, an app can only retrieve the photos of friends who have the app installed
How does a MySpace user "install" or "add" a MySpaceID application? • Re: Accessing friends' photos, albums and activities with MySpaceID C# SDK

Quoting Kiam "Right now, your friends would need to have added/linked your app in order for your app to fetch their photos and albums." From our testing, we have found out that "adding" an on-site app to one's profile allows access to their photos and albums from a friend who has also added the app. However, even if you ...

  • Viewing friend's public albums

    1. On site Application Can I please get confirmation from a MySpace MDP representative around permissions of retrieving users public albums from a MySpace application: It appears that using a MySpace application, a MySpace User can only view their MySpace friends public albums, if the friend also has the same MySpace application installed. The ...

  • Re: Test Users

Thanks for this reply. I haven't worked out an answer to this question:[Have you] dropped the restriction for MySpaceID apps that only users on the app's developers list can use them when the app status is "Development"? Can you help? Does the split between MySpaceID & local ("On-site") apps mean that a ...

  • Re: Test Users

Do you mean that you've dropped the restriction for MySpaceID apps that only users on the app's developers list can use them when the app status is "Development"? Is there a wiki page which summarises the differences between MySpaceID & "local" apps? Thanks -- Richard

Thanks Rhonda.  So if we for any reason wish to change the external domain on legacy app, we cannot do that anymore? And we need to create a new MySpaceID app?
