Iframe can only be used on Canvas. It won't work on home or profile (last I knew, unless they changed anything)

You are correct, there are no iframes allowed on the profile or home surface.

 They should be providing you f/b every time you publish. Then you make changes from the feedback you get and republish. If it's not approved you should get NEW feedback as to why.  Make sure you always include your feedback and an app number in your posts, so that if a dev team member can help they'll need that info

 Canvas surface is required. The othes are not, but canvas is, and you need to be unique on all 3 views if you choose to use them.
