    App rejected again

    Hi MPD,

my app has been rejected again! That's the 4th or 5th time...

    This is MP feedback:

Description – Applications must have an accurate description on the application profile, gallery, and within the application itself, including appropriate icons and application requirements. Please describe what the application is for and/or how it functions. note: the applications description must clearly mention any app. requirements e.g., third party registration, age restrictions, etc. Please read the Terms of Use and Application Guidelines.

I don't know what's wrong, i just followed MP past feedback to make my app fit the requirements but it seems not to be enough...
Here you can find my app:

    http://www.myspace.com/482390263

This is english version of app profile:

R101 plays the way you do

The application "R101 plays the way you do" lets you listen to the playlists you have created on R101.it.
Actually, through the interactive radio, you can create your own playlist in a short while on the site R101. With "PLAY THE WAY YOU ARE" you can choose the songs to listen according to your emotions. While with "PLAY THE WAY YOU USED TO BE" you just select your birth year and a few memories of your old lovely years to live back your past at the music sound.
To install the application "R101 plays the way you do" you have to plug-in using your R101 account. The application is free and without any restriction of age for its use. Besides, remember that you need to have Adobe Flash Player plug-in in order to use the application. Have a good listening!

Can someone please help me? What's still missing in my app profile?

The app is a flash based one, it's just an audio player that allows people to play playlists created on an external website. A third party registration is needed on the website but no age restrictions are applied and there aren't particolar requirements (except of course for the flash player). Also, i used a stamp of the application itself as icon.

Any help will be very appreciated!!
Thanks in advance for the support!

    Hello Neo,

This is all I see for your app description: "Listen to your emotions and create your own playlist on the interactive radio." Your app was rejected because it doesn't describe in enough detail what it does. Remember to include a solid description in the application profile, gallery, and within the application itself.

    Thanks,

    Joel

    Hello Joel!

First of all thank you very much for your reply!!

You're right, you can only see "Listen to your emotions and create your own playlist on the interactive radio." because there are only 100 chars available for the description. But if you click "View Application" then you go to the full description page:

     http://profile.myspace.com/Modules/Applications/Pages/Canvas.aspx?appId=140056

and you can find the full description were all requirements are listed both in italian and english:

The application "R101 plays the way you do" lets you listen to the playlists you have created on R101.it.
Actually, through the interactive radio, you can create your own playlist in a short while on the site R101.      So what am i doing wrong? maybe that page is only available for italian users?

     Thanks,
    Neo

    Re: App rejected again

    Hi,

One thing you can do is log in with the email address you assigned to the app when you created it (this is just like a user account) then edit the user profile description, which will update the application description. This section must fully describe what the app does, and it must match the language that was originally chosen for the app. If you happen to be creating an app in Italian and English, then you should create two apps, one with each language in the dev user profile information. I know it is a bit cumbersome, but this is how it must be done for localization purposes.

    thanks,

    Joel

    Re: App rejected again

    Thx again Joel,

i've updated the user profile description as suggested. My App is intended to be for italian language only... i've put the english description too just to simplify validation process to MDP Team.

I'm going to submit app again... hope this time will pass mdp check :-)

    Thanks,

    Neo
