Hi,

In OAuth can we manage "User Authorization Process"  without browser.  If there is any process for desktop application to authorize using

URI+oauth_token+callback URI without browser help please help us. Is there anyway to authroze request_token using http methods. We are strucking here and we can find really very less faqs and material regarding desktop application.

Can anyone suggest some other good forum to get information about myspace.  We strucked up in authorization phase (we are able to do it with browser) without using browser. We are waiting for reply is there any alternate way to authorize user without browser and we didn't get any kind of response till now. So please let us know where we can get relevent information.

Already we wasted lot of time by expecting reply from this forum. So please suggest some good place where we can get clarification regarding myspace problems for installed applications.

You have been waiting, and I do apologize. It's been a busy few weeks. Looking into this now.

 No. The user has to go to myspace to authorize your application.  There are two ways to do this.

1. Offsite app: you'll need to set up a web site that can redirect the user to myspace to authorize your request token.
2. Onsite app: your users will need to add your application in myspace.

The reason for this is that we don't want users giving their myspace passwords to any third parties (i.e. you :)
