    What sort of dialogs are allowed?

    In the process of reviewing the applicaition that I posted, you asked me to remove 2 javascript dialogs that ask the user to confirm deleting an item. Why are we not allowed to place any type of dialogs? I think it degrades the application experience and may cause problems to my users (e.g. a user clicks the delete link by accident). The application guidelines specify that we are not allowed to pop any javascript alerts, dialogs and other popups. What alternatives do you suggest?

    p.s. also i noticed that one of the apps that were preinstallled to my profile, 'truth box', pops an js alert with an error most of the times I load my home page.

     Our guidelines specifically state that applications may not:

    - contain pop-ups, pop-unders, dialogue boxes (e.g., alerts);

     Does that answer the question?

    Thanks!
