Hi,

I created an app by uploading an xml gadget descriptor.  I need to tweak the xml a lot as I am developing it.  I have added the app to my profile and ever since I am unable to see any change from the initial version.

Here is what I have tried, in vain:

from "upload xml tab"

• refresh
• validate
• use a different url.

I have also removed and re-added the app.

no luck.

What's the magic trick?

Have you published your changes?  If so, wait an hour for the changes to take effect.  If not, go to "My Apps" and click the "Publish" button.

I am facing a simillar problem w.r.t updating my app. If I publish my app, will other users be able to access it? Since I am still working on my app, I do not want others to see it now.

Can you please explain how I can keep updating my application code and have it visible while developing it?

if you publish it goes up for review. If approved it goes live. If not, it gets kicked back. 

So you guys are saying that refreshing XML is not updating the code on the surfaces?
