    Cannot change Live Flash App.

After I upload my .swf file when I View Development Version it shows the same as the live version. Looking at the page source, both dev and live are using the same .swf.

I therefore cannot test to see that the home, profile and canvas all have the new code and I cannot publish my changes.

Update when [this will be] fixed would be appreciated

Hi Johnny, any estimate on when this problem will be fixed?

    Thanks

    Hey Dave,

I know you have been talking with Stephanie, and she and I are looking into a fix.  Though, we currently do not have an estimated time.  Once we do, we'll make sure to let you and Eddie know.

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

I'm having similar problems. I was trying to update some applications, switching from embedding SWFs using HTML/Javascript to uploading SWFs. Not only does the Development preview not work but it broke the live applications. If you could let me know when this is fixed as well I'd appreciate it.

Any updates?  If you expect it to take much longer to fix, please can you roll back the flash upload code so we can at least upload, and view it live immediately?  Like we could before.

Here is the problem: Our preview functionality for development flash panels is broken.

If you update your flash file and publish the changes, the live version will actually update (after a delay).

We REALIZE that obviously prevents you from testing the change.. but you can always create a separate app for testing if that's in issue right now.

In the meantime, we ARE working on a resolution.

We appreciate your patience and are very sorry this has been going on so long.

My patience left long ago. We know what the problem is and I told you it 10 days go.

I'm not risking my apps reputations on going live blind "after a delay".

With display height resetting you can never be sure you got it right and what it's going to look like.

As I'm going to allow customising on the canvas - I need to know that the right versions of home and profile are in place otherwise I may get a load of unnecessary queries.

"after a delay" - is tricky enough to support as it is nevermind with time differences and going live blind...

I've got a Flash-based app that I just submitted for the first time yesterday:
    http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=354823909

It was rejected due to not functioning in the canvas or profile views, but it seems to be working fine for me. What I don't know is whether I'm seeing the same version of the files I uploaded that I submitted yesterday or the version that was there before I submitted.

    Hi Brock

John should probably take a look at your app. I've tagged it for him :)

    Hey Brock,

I see that you were denied yesterday, and made changes/re-published today.  I'm able to see your Flash app on all surfaces so it's going to go through our regular review process which takes up to 48 hours from from publish.
