Does myspace support gadgets.io.getProxyUrl??

I am seeing this error:

config.proxyUrl has no properties

For those that care (obviously not many judging by the lack of replies..) signal_loss said an engineer is working on this and is about half way done.. 

i just got this message today " config.proxyUrl has no properties " while i was trying to port my opensocialv0.7 to myspaces opensocial

oh, well i guess i will wait a bit and see what happens, there are other things to work on myside i guess.

Almost 2 months later, and still the same issue. Is this still being worked on?

Do you still have plans to implement getProxyUrl?  Max / signal_loss mentioned in IRC a long time ago that someone was working on it.  But, currently it throws an error:

config.proxyUrl has no properties

Does this mean myspace will support getProxyUrl?  It would be good to know if you ever plan on supporting it or not.  Right now it's one of two things that completely breaks portability - every other container supports getProxyUrl.  (The other myspace limitation that breaks portability is the 1KB app data.  Every other site allows for 10KB.)

 I actually gave up on this.  On all of the OpenSocial containers I'm using for testing, there is no need to use getProxyUrl().  makeRequest functions fully without doing anything special to the URL.  

Maybe getProxyUrl should just be dropped from the spec.  

Daniel, getProxyUrl works fine on orkut, hi5, netlog, friendster, and every other site I have buddypoke on.  It's a great feature, and works very different to regular makeRequests.  makeRequests are typically cached for, at most, a couple of hours.  getProxyUrl typically uses the container's cdn (or similar) to store *static content* for really long periods of time - like a year.  IMO it should definitely *not* be dropped from the spec..

Hi guys, yeah this is not supported right now, but I do believe we do plan to support it when we roll to .8 (I'd have to double check to be sure and no, I have no ETA on that yet)
