VB.NET call to get Bands Upcoming Shows

I posted this in XML App, but I think this might be the better place, sorry for double posting.

I would like to write a VB.NET application that will log into my Bands mySpace page, and download our Upcoming Shows to any format.....the end result is to get it into a database, or excel spreadsheet so that I can send items to be printed easily.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?  This is my first mySpace code....I am experienced at VB.NET.

    Thanks,

    Aberon

I think the simple answer is u cant. At this time theres no way of retrieving that info via the api. There seems to be very little support for all things band related at the mo. Maybe they'll make this info available once they're supporting app rendering on band profiles... but i wouldnt count on it.  Even if they did, storing the information beyond a certain amount of time is against the TOS

I'm struggling to find something that works the other way - I want to manage shows externally and just send a mass update. I'd happily make one but there doesn't appear to be a way to access that level of info through the API - unless I'm looking at it wrong.

But what I do is just select the area of the listings and copy paste into excel. If you're careful with your selection, it automatically assumes the table tags are delimiters and lays it out neatly.

Or you can do a manual find and replace from the HTML - fiddly but it work - which means you could do a screenscrape!
