In the developer console, our app si marked as live (App Status: Live), but when users are trying to reach it, they get "This application is currently pending review." Can you look into this bug?

I am trying to send a notification with a profile pic url. I am using the latest php SDK. The notification is sent, but there is not picture included.

The SDK is appending all these null values in the mediaItems. Could that be the issue? I am not clear as to where these are being set unfortunately or I would try removing them myself.

Accessing a user's info.

I have written a basic app in which I am trying to get the info of a number of users. For some reason we cannot get info (except for the basic: displayName, hasApp, id, name, profileUrl, thumbnailUrl, isOwner, isViewer) on anyone except for the viewer. For the viewer I can get extended fields such as aboutMe. I was under the understanding that as long as the user was a Friend or an app user we would be able to get this info. The user I am trying to get the info for is both a friend and an app user. So what gives? Am I really restricted to only getting info on the viewer?

What are the notification content macros?

When using the PHP SDK the example code includes these macros for "recipient" and "canvasURL".

I'm not able to find anywhere in the documentation if there are any other macros out there. Does anyone know?

Access myspace calendar events from external website

I just wanted to know if I'm looking in the right place for developing a calendar on an external website which shows events from my myspace calendar. I've been looking at the REST and the events activity stream - but as this I'm not developing a myspace app (it will just be a request from an external website for the feed) I'm wondering if this will not work...

Could someone let me know if they think that I'm on the right track or not? Will the api requests work if coming from an external website?

Huge Ongoing issue with Myspace App

No matter what i do in the external IFrame URL I get something similar to this Error message

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /myspace/index.htm on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Not getting MySpace extended fields returned from opensocial REST API

I'm using the latest version of the opensocial php SDK (http://wiki.developer.myspace.com/index.php?title=OpenSocial_Client_Libraries) and I am not able to get the extended fields such as msLargeImage, msZodiacSign and gender returned from the $osapi->people->getViewer() call.

My app type is: External IFrame

Opensocial is not working..

hello all,

I devloped application on facebook , now i am moving my app to myspace and i devloped it using external Iframe. But prob is that when i display app to other myspace user its shows "Sorry, the app is currently private. You must be a friend of the app to view this page.". then i searched and found i can get rid of this problem using openSocial. and i implement my app in opensocial but when i display the app where user does not install my app , same error are prompting. then i dignose the prob and found var os = opensocial.Container.get(); is not calling my opensocial.js. I tried and give lot of effort to do. but results are same and my app is not visible to other user...

please help me out

Hello Myspace devloper team. I am new in myspace application and i devloped successfully application in facebook. I am using external iframe for deploying my application but my probs is that the URL of application is like that http://profile.myspace.com/Modules/Applications/Pages/Canvas.aspx?appId=160598 and i created different folders in my application like x,y,z in my external website. its very easy in facebook to test my application becuase URL given by it like http://apps.facebook.com/exploreu_test/x/Students.aspx and now i want to see my content of Y folder then simply change URL http://apps.facebook.com/exploreu_test/y/Students.aspx and see changes in facebook easily..but in myspace its all in iframe . Is there any way to show content my different foldersthrough URL and if not....Please give me alternate for my problem.

Hi,

krunal told in one post that "Currently there is no user controlled permission model for MySpaceID apps". Can a developer upload photo to his account from myspaceid sdk sample with our permission model?.

It is returning the following error response when i try to upload photo.

User Integration Question

On Facebook, I have my application set up so that upon registration, the user's Facebook User ID is saved into the UserDatabase of the game. Then, after registration, everytime they visit the Facebook Application from Facebook, they are automatically logged in. In order to do that, I simply need a way for the game to be able to see what the user's Facebook User ID is. I use an iframe for my application there.

The question here is, I am using the same game for Myspace and would like to have the same registration set up with it. Meaning, I want the game to be able to read what the user's Myspace ID is. New players when registering would have their Myspace ID saved into their Game UserDetails and anytime they visit the application after that from Myspace they would be automatically logged in.

What coding will let my game see a user's Myspace User ID?

requestShareApp not working - ID 158604

Hi,

I just realized today some of the instructions for calling requestShareApp from an Iframe have changed since I last made an app. After checking the instructions on http://profile.myspace.com/Modules/Applications/Pages/Canvas.aspx?appId=124833 I updated my Javascript librarie which was the only change apparently needed. WhenI call requestShareApp, I get a message on the Firebug console which says "Unknown RPC service: postTo". I don't see any 404s on the libraries invoked, and my MySpace container is being generated correctly since I see it on Firebug.

Any help would be appreciated.

Making myspace app

I have a PHP game I made on my external server. I wasn to connect to it threw an External IFrame. I have searched the forum and found a few topic but the code always fails. Right now I just want to get myspace to pass the friend ID to my app and I want to verify the friend ID is comming from myspace. Alot of the samples I have tried request Myspaceapi.php which I am unable to locate. Then with the examples that use OAuth.php and Space.php I get the following error.

got http code 201 but received nothing even in notification box

hello everyone, I am totally confused about the api call bellow.

I want to send message to those in my friend list with

http://api.myspace.com/v1/applications/123XXX/notifications

and I got http code 201 which means "Created" as to official document, I try and try and try,

but received nothing in my friends' notification box or their homepage.

why??? Is there anyone who can help me?

Is there a current working photo upload API for myspace? I haven't been able to get a clear answer on this. I'm creating an app that uploads photos and already got it working for facebook,picasa,flickr. Would be nice if it worked on myspace in the same way.

401 Error using OAuth to send REST API calls

I am trying to figure out how to use the rest API, and keep getting 401: Invalid digital signature for base string. here's what I do:

1) go to "myapps", and click "view development version"

2) read the output from the php file

3) cut and paste the necessary values into an http request: (the values in the request below that i would insert are oauth_nonce, oauth_signature, and oauth_timestamp)

I've also tried using the files Jerome made: http://developer.myspace.com/Community/forums/t/157.aspx, and used the index.php from downdoggy.com: http://downdoggy.com/info/myspace-developer.php. I also get a 401 error though, that nearly everyone got in the thread, but there is no mention on how to solve it...

What am I doing wrong?

OpenSocial 0.9 Activities REST doesn't work for developers?

I've tried just about everything to get REST Acitvities working, yet I keep getting 400 errors.

The docs mention that templates need to be live before being used. If so, how do we test test templates in developer mode?

My code:
