Setting Height for Profile and Home View

How can I set the height of Profile and Home view in the application's xml file.

I am setting the height as 650px in the xml file but it doesnt seem to be 650px in the app.

Is there any way to specifically set different height for all views.

I also tried calling autoAdjust function but if there's some image which has still not loaded and after being load has a bigger size than the container, some of the content of the container is clipped.

I also tried calling the autoAdjust function periodically but it flickrs in Safari.

Any clue how to fix this height issue?

Hello all.

My name is Rick and I am pretty much a newbie having a head banging experience with learning how to write configure and install my myspace apps.

I believe that some of the sample OpenSocial apps do not work, which really exacerbates the matter.

I have a Rss news feed Scroll (SWF, XML, PHP, HTML: see below html link) that I have been working on for days on end to embed into my profile.

Can you help get me on the right track so to reduce the odds of encountering other unforeseen obstacles. For example, like bad apps issues, inter alia, I can't seem to get anything to work here.

MySpace documentation (http://developer.myspace.com/community/myspace/appXmlSpec.aspx#UserPref) states that, "Although UserPrefs are supported in XML (you can import them), UserPref hasn’t been released as a feature yet."

When will this feature be implemented?

Do you have any suggested work arounds for saving a single preference for a profile gadget?
