    Microformats and MySpace

It appears that newly created MySpace profile pages are using Microformats now. Cool! For example this page, which I just created, has formatted my info with hCard: http://myspace.com/irhetoric.  However, Iots of other profile pages don't use Microformats -- I'm guessing they are generated using a different codebase? Is that the correct assumption?  Are there plans to have all MySpace profile pages support Microformats?

Hi Karsten, I have forwarded your question to the profiles team since they don't usually monitor the developer forums, and see we can get you a response.

Correct, new profiles use microformats, but most of the rest of the site does not. The web framework team would be the appropriate group to follow-up with.

Thanks!  It appears that Microformats are indeed part of the Profile 2.0 but not part of Profile 1.0. You might also pass on that, in their implementation of Microformats in Profile 2.0, the class="photo" attribute appears twice, once on the anchor tag wrapping the image and once on the image itself...

     Regards,
