    Add events from outside

     Hi,

I want to add events from outside of MySpace.

This means that I don't want to fill out the form at my application and at http://event.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=events.create. I think that i only send the data, which i inserted in my application.

That's my idea. Then I looked for the options to connect and found the RESTful API. But (I understand it in this way) I have to write an application, which will be bind into MySpace for using by other members.

Did I looked wrong or is there really no interrface created?

    Manuel

PS: I hope my english style isn't so horrible like my teachers said ...

It sounds like you might wish to create an external IFrame app.  If you go through the exercise of creating an "On Site" app, you'll eventually get to the source code "Surface Editor".  On the Canvas surface you can specify an external IFrame (external URL) as the source of your app.  All other surfaces require inline flash or html/javascript.

If your app is truely not going to be installable on MySpace and going to live elsewhere you may be looking at a MySpace ID app.  This kind of app allows your to authenticate with MySpacID (an OpenID impl) and call the REST API, but lives entirely on another website.  Hope this helps.  You should play around a little to see what works for your needs.
