I'm curious as to what the criteria is for approving a developer's account. I don't know much about myspace app development aside from what I've read in the "learn" pages, though I do know javascript and html. But how am I supposed to get better unless I can practice....

Therefore I'd assume that there is only some very basic criteria for approving/denying developer account requests, is this true? If not, what is the criteria/who can apply to become a developer?

Also, I notice one of the required fields in the application page is "company"--might this be a deciding factor? Whether or not one works for a company?

Company isn't required. Not sure why that is considered a needed field. We do need a valid phone number.

Maybe I should just sign up for a developer's account and see if I'm approved. I can't see any reason why I wouldn't be unless there's some strange criteria I don't happen to meet.
