having trouble letting fellow developers see my in-development application

I'm developing an application and I'm having an issue allowing my coworkers see the application to test it out. Their accounts have been approved as myspace developers and I logged in with the application's profile and added them as friends (and they approved). They went to the application's profile and added the application, but when they try and view the application (which is a canvas app) they only see a message that says "This application is currently pending review". Can you please provide some help as to how I can allow my coworkers to see the application so that they can test it? Thank you, in advance.

Please have the app friend me, and I'll take a look.

This app has never been live?

It's acting live.. ;) you can't be pending if you haven't been submitted.  What does it say next to the app when you click MyApps??

Do you have the option to publish? Can you post a screen cap?

Sorry I didn't mean live! I mean it's acting like it was published!!

How long has it been pending?

Sounds like it's an iframe app which I believe, if my memory serves me right - cannot be multi user tested.

Testers / bosses will have to sign on as you to see it working

    Quirk of the process.

It has the option to be published, yes. I have not published it yet as I don't want it to be public before it's done. My coworkers need to test it, though, before it can be published.

    That's pretty awful, if true.

How do they expect us to test the interaction of friends in our applications? Perhaps support for multi-user testing is coming for iframe canvas applicaitons in the near future?

    Hey Thomas/Eddie,

Yes, support for multi-user testing is coming for iframe canvas applicaitons in the near future (though we do not have a solid ETA).  Simply being friends with an application does not allow mulit-user testing.  The new feature we are working on will allow you to add users as a "developer" of the app verus just a "friend" of the app.

Thank you everyone for the quick responses regarding this issue. I look forward to testing my application with multiple users in the future.

Jonny, in the hope you are still watching this thread: i put a iframe base application in place, it's still in development,

and added a follow developer and myspace friend to it as developer, he comes now up as developer for the app, and the app appears in his developer area, but whenever he tries to install this app he get's "your are currently restricted from installing this application" - any help would be appreciated.

    Hey Uwe,

I'll need to know your app name and app ID.

Im trying to figure out the same thing! How can we get other users to test and run our apps before they are live? It would be nice to get at least a couple users!

To have users test your app...

    1.  You need to log in as your app using the apps's email/pass (note this is different from your developer login).
    2.  Then as the app, friend who you want to test the app.
    3.  From there, the app's friends will be able to install and use the app before it is published.
