    app directory listing order

This seems to have broken recently and the apps are not in the correct order when looking at most popular.  For example look at the Food and Drink category.  The 4th to 6th items are not right and the bottom two are not right.

The numbers are a little jumpy but for the most part, the difference is only a few installs.  Is that what you're talking about?

In those examples the difference is only a few installs but shouldn't it be accurate regardless?

If you select ALL and go to the 10th or 11th page there are apps with significantly more users behind apps with less.  ie: one with 96 is above one with a 140.

Isn't this just an ORDER BY clause to display these results, not sure how it could be incorrect at all but it is.

It sounds like it's not sorting/indexing properly.

I agree it should be accurate. I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page.

The ranks are fine.  This is an issue with cache. :) It refreshes every hour.

The numbers are WAY off from what they were an hour ago.... some apps are down a couple thousand some are down a couple hundred....

Yeah the #'s just dropped all over the place. Mine  are down 20% of what I have recorded.

The cache explanation doesn't make sense.  The #'s were wrong last night and still wrong this morning more than 12 hours later.

How can it be that the install numbers show the "current" number but the order by doesn't.  Something doesn't make sense here.

All apps are showing some big drops in numbers today.  Take a look at the graphs on zynganomics.com

I re-reported the person who checked it out earlier today.
