Passing parameters through the install page

It would be most helpful if we could send parameters to the install page (app profile) and have them forwarded on to us when the user installs and is dropped on a canvas page.

This request would fit in with my earlier request to programmatically redirect users to the install page , by simply allowing parameters to be passed as the second argument to requestNavigateTo() as is currently possible for other redirects. In addition, though, the ability to send the args through the URL of the app page would be crucial -- e.g. ?userParams=... on the end of the app profile URL would end up being sent to the canvas page after the user installed.

    Thank you.

Yes I think this is a necessity. If it is possible, someone please let me know how to do it.

Yup, it will be great if we can have this as we will be able to maintain the user flow after he has installed his application and also track our users from where they installed the application

     Bump!

This is absolutely critical, otherwise it's impossible to know which ad campaigns are affective in generating new content.

Agreed.. absolutely critical to be able to pass params from some thing, "through the install process" to the app.
