&lt;p&gt;myspace has turned it to an email service with personal info about yourself and the option for chat integrated with internet explorer.&lt;/p&gt;

All this does is encourage quantity over quality. It's easier to create ten simple quizzes a day so that you have one in multiple categories rather than create more sophisticated apps that take more work only to get buried.&lt;/p&gt;

For instance, some apps have timed a re-release of themselves to happen on Friday which gives them significant exposure over the weekend when fewer new apps are added.&lt;/p&gt;
