Welcome to the MySpace Developer Platform!
The MySpace Developer Platform (MDP) is a combination of services that allow third-party developers to create stable, secure and entertaining applications that access and display MySpace member data (profile information, media, friend lists etc). MDP services include: online tools for creating, publishing and debugging applications, APIs providing browser-to-site and site-to-site interaction, the ability for applications to exchange data with the developer’s site, a system for members to find and install applications on their profiles, and security mechanisms for verifying secure communication while protecting members' identities. By creating entertaining and engaging applications, developers can promote their own sites and services to millions of MySpace members.
